mode. Most of the bars are situated on the beach
giving you a relaxing time sitting outside listening

you can head off into the night until the early
hours of the morning!

Surf
Camp
Accommodation
in Cabarete is based in the Surf Camp which
gives you the chill out time you'd deserve after
a hard days kite surfing, along with great people
and a relaxed atmosphere. The camp is only a
few minutes walk to the town and the bars.
The
camp provides various accommodation from sophisticated
huts to deluxe en-suite apartments. Choice of
accommodation will be available upon booking.
Conditions
Wind
in Cabarete is always very consistent with the
peak period being between June and August. Wind
usually picks up around midday and carries on
until the evening, in time to get back to the
camp to relax before food.
Living
costs
Living
costs in Cabarete are
very cheap with the average Cuba Libre
(rum and coke) priced at around 60 pesos. Moto
conchos which are the local motorbike taxi service
charge around 10 - 20pesos to get to Kite Club
from the camp otherwise you can take the scenic
20 minute walk along the beach.
Food
is availiable at Kite Club which serves up great
food to get yourself charged up for your next
kite surfing session.
