We have also opened in April 2006, a new luxury beachfront Bure and a two bedroom self contained Ocean View Villa, offering a variety in accommodation options for clients in 2007. Our new two Mango Tree villas are also open now, ready for our 2008 season. Our new Shop , Restaurant also opened and the new Bar complex should also be ready for next season….what a treat!

We are the only operator with HOT WATER SHOWERS…so enjoy your stay with Safari Lodge!

We have landscaped the grounds and have hammocks for those lazy recovery days.

What to BRING: Please bring Booties, Harness and Gloves, spring wetsuit and normal Kiting clothes + towels. Plenty of suntan cream, sunglasses, large floppy hat and long sleeve rash vest for sun protection. Coral antibiotic cream and ointment to prevent coral and tropical infections from cuts etc, is also essential! Plenty of bandaids and a personal medical kit will also come in handy in case of any accidents.

Kitesurfing Specific gear: Please bring helmet, and impact vest. Please ensure your bar is equipped with a safety leash. Please also bring lots of energy bars and tasty treats in-between meals. Spare repair patches, chicken loops and bladder repair kits, spare lines are also recommended. Please email us for specifics prior to arrival to check your specific needs are catered for.

Boat support included: Want to rip all day and not worry about loosing your board? Our dedicated Boats take you to the numerous awesome areas for riding and our Legendary downwinders….try all those new moves and don't worry about crashing -we're right there to help you! Need a water re-launch - easy!

Kite Instruction: If you require a lesson or two, this is certainly available…Please email us to reserve your requirements in advance, so we can confirm availability of Instructors and specific package required. IKO Level 2 Instructor is on hand to teach at any level……

Non-windy Days: While Warren has done everything possible to ensure you have wind during your stay, sometimes the meter runs out and we have to find alternative activities. There are plenty of non-Windsurfing activities to do, so please look at the attached sheet of options and plan accordingly.

Package: Your Kitesurfing starts on Sunday, with flight arrivals being anytime on Saturday and an evening group transfer on the Saturday afternoon / evening to the island from Nadi. The return trip to Nadi is on Friday evening, and includes overnight accommodation at Nadi prior to the Saturday morning return flights. Please ensure your flights work around these transfers, or email us for a special private transfer requirements. Private transfers incur an additional $120 for a private transfer each way.

Meals: We provide a served breakfast from 7.30am. If you are up earlier, please feel free to help yourself, or await our staff to prepare for you. Lunch is between 12.30 and 1.30 daily and the evening meal is between 6-8pm. The exact times depend on the wind and daily activities. If you have any favourites, please advise staff, so we can cater accordingly. Our new Mango Tree homes have optional lunch and breakfast for $30/day/p/p. This can be booked on arrival, as package includes only dinner on Mango Tree villas package

Drinks: Included in your package are unlimited non-carbonated drinks, mixed with the delicious water from the tap, and usually found in the freezer compartment. Any carbonated drinks or bottled water is available and can be delivered from Ellington wharf and charged to your account. Any alcohol can also be arranged.

Water: Rainwater is caught off the roof and is very precious, so please be very careful, do not leave taps dripping and please have efficient showers. It is fresh water, perfect for drinking.

Inside / Outside: We try to stay dry inside and dry ourselves when entering the Villa. No wet dripping clothes inside ,please put wet towels on the clothes lines provided, booties and sport specific equipment can be left in the wooden decking areas and associated racks.

Electricity: We have generated power on from 9am until 10pm daily. This keeps the fridge cold and permits you to recharge any electrical devices you may have.

Valuables: We have a floor safe on the Island for your valuables if you choose to utilise this facility. Otherwise please secure your room or hide any valuables you have and do not leave them lying around in the open. At night time, all valuables should be contained within the Villa and not left on the outside tables.

Shop purchases: We are opening our new Island Retail Shop so this will look after all your treats and binge addictions. We also run a tab for clients wishing to purchase items from our Ellington wharf Café / Shop and this is brought over daily for clients. Please mention to staff your desires, so we can order ahead of time for you. This needs to be settled weekly or on departure.

Neighbouring properties: There are some lovely walks on the island, so please ask Warren what is available, so we can assist you in your leisure time. The island land is freehold and offers a public access along the beachfront and the first 20m of each property, so at high tide an alternate access is available up off the beach area. You should not however cross others properties as it is private property and especially in the residential areas, owners are precious of their properties……let them enjoy their paradise in peace!

Mainland activities: Please ask staff what's available for a day off or a morning of alternate activities…Waterfall Tours / Village Stays, etc ...there is a lot to do!
